The mission of the High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media is to provide academic and career competencies that will transform students into competitive candidates in advertising and media. The school, providing a rigorous and real-world, experience-based environment, will empower students to make well-informed decisions about their educational and professional futures.

My mission is to use the power of design and creativity to make brands meaningful to consumers, by earning their attention and loyalty through powerful brand experiences and messaging.
IAM was created with the goal to create a pipeline of new talent for underserved communities into the advertising industry. Our impact is continual and increasing with each student and graduating class. Our students learn about advertising and but also apply critical-thinking and problem-solving skills that are relevant to today’s brands and markets.
There are many ways to be part of the IAM community. Some of the best ways the Advertising Industry can get involved are as mentors, visits, hosting field trips, critiquing projects, offering feedback on cover letters & resumés, mock interviews, and judging presentations.
